A 20-year-old Crystal River man is accused of knocking on a door and then exposing himself to a woman who answered.

Patrick Ryan, of 5425 W. Paul Bryant Drive, is now charged with prowling and lewd and lascivious exhibition.

Citrus County deputies say Ryan victimized four women in the morning hours of New Years Day.

Deputies say they responded to an indecency call on West Croyden Circle.  According to an arrest affidavit, a woman told deputies someone rang their doorbell and her daughter went and opened the door.  Once the door was open, the daughter saw Ryan with his pants down masturbating, deputies say.

By the time deputies arrived, Ryan was gone but the woman was able to provide a description.

Minutes later, deputies received another call from a woman on North Ensign Point.

According to deputies, this woman was out walking her dogs when a suspicious car kept driving by.  The man matched Ryan's description and kept circling the woman.  Ryan got out of his car twice, deputies say.

Another complaint call came in from a third woman just a few miles away.

According to an arrest affidavit, this woman witnessed Ryan get out of his car and exposed himself.  She said he then drove off.

A fourth woman came forward to deputies saying Ryan stopped his silver Jeep in front of her, pulled down his pants and began touching his buttocks in a sexual manner, an arrest affidavit states.

Deputies say they spotted Ryan in the area running a stop sign and pulled him over.

When deputies questioned Ryan about being the area and ringing a woman's doorbell and exposing himself, he reportedly told them he did ring the doorbell but was headed to a friend's house, an affidavit states.

Ryan is being held on $5,500 bond.
