HERNANDO COUNTY, Fla. — The CARES program in Hernando County provides up to $5,000 recovery grants to eligible small businesses impacted by the COVID-19 pandemic.
The intent of the program is to offset the temporary loss of revenue and help the businesses recover.
Funds are limited and will be distributed on a first-submitted, eligible and approved application basis. Applications can be submitted now, but officials don't start reviewing them until June 29.
There is no deadline to apply and incomplete applications will not be accepted.
