HERNANDO COUNTY, Fla. — An Access Health Care doctor was arrested for pushing, grabbing and shaking a woman while on duty, according to detectives.

Detectives say 48-year-old Rashid Saba was on duty at Oak Hill Hospital when the altercation occurred. They say Saba pushed his victim before grabbing and shaking her against her will — leaving bruising on her forearm.

According to detectives, Saba was angry at his victim for being in contact with other men and one of his other partners.

The incident was immediately reported to hospital administration and they have since removed Saba from seeing patients at the hospital.

He was charged with one count of dating violence and is being held without bond until he makes his first appearance.

Representatives for Access Health Care say Saba was fired in June when administrators first learned of the incident.
