Monstrous and violent.

Those are the two words prosecutors are using to describe allegations against David Deine, Sr. of Spring Hill.

Deine is accused of raping three children.

"We were quite shocked to hear it," said Carla Pully, Deine's neighbor.

Hernando County deputies first issued a warrant for Deine's arrest on February 29.  At the time, two children, both females, came forward saying Deine had raped them.

A multi-county manhunt ensued as Deine disappeared from his Apache Trail home.

Federal Marshals captured Deine in Tampa last weekend.

According to court documents, Deine's most recent alleged victim is between the age of 12 and 18.

Deputies say Deine strangled the girl while raping her, leaving her gasping for air and coughing.

The second case brought against Deine also involves a girl between the ages of 12 and 18.  Deputies say he raped that child as well.

Deputies say a third woman came forward, who is now an adult, claiming Deine began molesting her as a child.  Deputies will only say the woman was under the age of 12.

An arrest affidavit states Deine would touch the girl while she was nude.

The woman alleges sexual abuse by Deine continued throughout her childhood and teen years.  An arrest affidavit states Deine repeated raped the woman and would choke and pull her hair each time.

Deine is now facing sexual assault, battery and lewd and lascivious battery charges.

His bond is set at $2,750,000.

Should he make bond, the judge ordered him to home confinement, requiring he wears a GPS monitor.  He's also been ordered not to have any contact with his alleged victims or their families.

ABC Action News knocked on Diene's door.  A woman refused to open the door but yelled, "Go away!"
