A Homosassa woman is accused of trying to run a man down with a truck, and then crashing into his home, according to Citrus County deputies.
Faith Bergman, 37, is facing criminal mischief, domestic battery and aggravated assault charges.
Deputies say Bergman caused $1,500 to the home off West Rochelle Street.
The man, who is known to Bergman, reportedly told deputies he was washing dishes when he heard a ruckus and went outside to see what was going on.
According to the man, Bergman began verbally attacking him and then began hitting him.
Deputies say the man took off running toward the carport.
An arrest report states Bergman jumped behind the wheel of a pickup truck and began chasing the man around the yard. The man was reportedly hiding behind trees to protect himself.
Bergman ended up crashing the car into the home's front porch, deputies say.
According to the man, Bergman got out of the truck, grabbed a shovel and began chasing him around the yard again. At some point, Bergman allegedly dropped the shovel and armed herself with a florescent light fixture and began chasing the man again.
Deputies say when they arrived Bergman and the man were in a standoff.
At least two people witnessed the scene, deputies say.
Deputies say Bergman was not cooperative and changed her story several times.
She is being held without bond.
