WEEKI WACHEE, Fla. -- One person is dead in a shooting in Weeki Wachee on Sunday evening.
The Hernando County Sheriff's Office responded to a call of a shooting on Picardy Court around 8 p.m.
The incident should not pose a threat to the community, according to deputies.
Officials have not identified the person killed in the shooting. The deadly incident remains under investigation.
