Last Call! After two extensions by a Federal Judge, Tuesday, October 18 is now the final day for Florida residents to register to vote.
The extensions came after Hurricane Matthew slammed into the state, causing many to be evacuated from their homes.
Elections offices expect to be busy due to good old procrastination, but voter registration numbers are also up from four years ago.
If you want to vote in the November 8th election, you have until 5 p.m. on Tuesday to turn in your registration applications. If you mail your application, it must be postmarked by Tuesday.
Sample ballots have also been sent out in Hillsborough County to anyone who is not receiving a mail-in ballot.
Starting at 11 a.m. on Tuesday, there will be a public test of election equipment at the Gilder Elections Service Center in Hillsborough County.
