Oar impales woman's windshield on Alligator Alley in Broward County

A woman driving on Alligator Alley in Broward County was nearly impaled by an oar.

Pictures taken by Florida Highway Patrol, show the oar stuck in the windshield of a Chevrolet Suburban.

Troopers said Christina Theisen, 33, of Port Charlotte was driving on I-75 on December 9 when the incident happened.

Theisen told troopers she believes the oar fell from a motor home or it was kicked up by the tires of the motor home she was trying to pass.

Theisen said she ducked out of the way just in time.
