Here's how it works: You bring your old car seat to a Target drop-off box to be recycled and in exchange, get a coupon towards a new one. Easy!

Target works with Waste Management to recycle all types of car seats. Including infant seats, convertible seats, car seat bases, harness or booster car seats. Even car seats that are expired or damaged!

After trading in your old seat, the store will give you a 20% off coupon towards a new one. It can also be used on select baby home gear, like playards, high chairs, swings, rockers and bouncers.

The coupons are eligible through May 11. You can find the nearest drop-off box at a store near you by clicking here.
