Shipping deadlines loom as Monday marks the busiest shipping day of the year

If you're sending holiday packages to a loved one, you'll want to wrap things up and get to the post office as soon as possible. 

Monday is the busiest shipping day for the United States Postal Service. 

There are deadlines for carriers to make sure that your packages arrive in time for Christmas.

USPS: 

  • Tuesday, December 20 is the deadline for sending packages first class mail with the U.S. Postal Service. 
  • Wednesday, December 21 is the deadline for Priority Mail with the U.S. Postal Service. 
  • Friday, December 23 is the deadline for Priority Mail Express.
