According to a two Syrian rights groups, an ISIS fighter publicly executed his own mother after she pled with him to leave the terrorist organization.
Per a CNN report, the 20-year-old killed his mother in Raqqa in front of hundreds of onlookers after turning her into authorities for apostasy, the abandonment of a belief.
She reportedly told her son "that the coalition will kill all members of the organization."
There are conflicting reports on the age of the mother. One group reported she was 35, while another reported her to have been in her 40s.
