Quaker Oats has voluntarily recalled some of its quinoa granola bars over listeria concerns.

An announcement posted to the U.S. Food and Drug Administration website says sunflower kernels used in the bars may contain the bacteria. No illnesses have been reported so far.

Most of the product in question was kept from shelves, but the company is recalling the following bars:
  • 6.1 ounce boxes of Quaker Quinoa Granola Bars Chocolate Nut Medley with the UPC code 30000 32241 and best before dates of 10/16/2016 and 10/17/2016
  • 6.1 ounce boxes of Quaker Quinoa Granola Bars, Yogurt, Fruit & Nut with UPC 30000 32243 with best before dates of 10/10/2016 or 10/11/2016.
You can dispose of the product or return it for a refund.
