A popular payment app is working to fix a nationwide outage Monday.
Venmo took to social media to inform users of its outage.
We are currently experiencing an interruption in service on the Venmo mobile app. Our teams are currently working to resolve the issue. Our priority is to ensure we're giving our customers the best experience, and we apologize for any inconvenience.

Venmo did not say when the app is expected to be back up and running.
According to the website DownDetector, users began to see issues with the app a little after 11:30 a.m. ET.
