A Starbucks customer in Florida is angry after claiming a drink he ordered came with an insulting note.

The man who did not want to be named said his Grande White Mocha beverage came with a label attached to the cup that read “Diabetes Here I Come.”

The customer said the mean-spirited note reminded him of his two sisters, both of whom have Type 1 diabetes.

For him, the insult was a nasty reminder of the struggle many people have to face and the widely held misconception that a poor diet is the only way a person can get the disease.

"Seeing and knowing the struggle my sisters went through by third, fourth grade, it definitely struck a nerve and I didn't just want to let it go," the Starbucks customer said.

According to TV station KFVS, the manager of the Starbucks location in question said he doesn't condone "that kind of behavior" from employees.

He said he doesn't need an apology but just doesn't want it to happen to anyone else.
