Residents and relief workers are focusing their efforts on recovery this week.  More than ten inches of rain caused massive flooding in the state last week.  About eight Red Cross Volunteers from central Florida are in Missouri helping out.  Mike Nolan of Tampa left to help the relief effort on Sunday.

"It makes you feel good to help people, because I have the ability and I feel good doing it," said Nolan.

At least 24 deaths were reported in Illinois and Missouri from the flooding.  Hundreds of homes in Missouri are devastated.

"We will go into neighborhoods and give people what they need and we can also set up a point of distribution," said Nolan.

Nolan believes he will be in Missouri for about two weeks.
