A man with a famously bizarre name was arrested on Sunday for allegedly assaulting two law enforcement officers.
Beezow Doo-doo Zopittybop-bop-bop, 34, has been accused of assaulting both a university police officer and a Sheriff's deputy in Washington during an elaborate chase on foot.
According to The Olympian, court documents indicated Zopittybop-bop-bop allegedly caused a disturbance at Evergreen State College before running away from a campus police officer. The officer caught Zopittybop-bop-bop but was bitten on the ring finger "several times" by him before letting go.
Zopittybop-bop-bop then struck the officer in the head with a handcuff case — the officer punched him in the face before using a stun gun, but Zopittybop-bop-bop was still able to run away.
While running, Zopittybop-bop-bop crossed paths with a Thurston County Sheriff's Office deputy, who gave chase. The deputy deployed his stun gun after Zopittybop-bop-bop allegedly threw a rock at him. After further struggling with the deputy, Zopittybop-bop-bop was eventually handcuffed and arrested, according to The Olympian.
In 2013, Zopittybop-bop-bop was arrested in Iowa on drug charges. In 2011, he was arrested in Wisconsin under his birth name, Jeffrey Wilschke.
