Sunday marks 15 years since the 9/11 attacks killed nearly 3,000 people.
Just days before the anniversary, a New York City amateur photographer took a powerful image of a ray of light beaming off One World Trade Center.
ABC 7 in New York reported that photographer Ben Sturner said he looks out at the World Trade Center Queens each morning.
Sturner said he hasn't seen anything like what he saw at 7:11 a.m. Thursday.
He described it as a "weird, reflective light” that stayed there for about 10 minutes.
Sturner said he didn't edit the photos in any way.
