Early Monday morning, a pedestrian died in a traffic crash on Hillsborough Avenue near Hesperides.
Tampa police said Hillsborough Avenue would be down to one lane through Lois until detectives completed their investigation. A release said this could take as many as two hours -- through 7 a.m.
There were no pending charges as of 5 a.m., and victim information was not immediately available.
