Two 17-year-old students at Boca Ciega High School were arrested for bringing a handgun to school.

At a high school football game played at Pinellas Park High School, the two teenagers were taken into custody for being in possession of a weapon on school property, Pinellas Park Police Department said.

During the football game, both teens were in possession of a backpack that contained a .45 caliber semiautomatic handgun loaded with two rounds.

Police was notified after a bystander saw the teens showing off the gun inside the backpack.
