The Florida Highway Patrol is investigating a rollover traffic accident that shut down southbound Interstate 75 near Bruce B. Downs Boulevard for about an hour Saturday evening.
The accident involving an overturned vehicle that was reported about 5:30 p.m. on I-75 at Mile Marker 267, according to the Florida Highway Patrol.
A medical helicopter was called to the scene to fly an injured motorist to an area hospital for treatment.
The southbound lanes now are open.
No other information has been released at this time.
