In springtime, there is nothing like a grilled cheese festival in scenic downtown St. Petersburg.
So today, thousands are expected to descend on Ferg's Sports Bar and the cobblestone courtyard near by for the St. Pete Grilled Cheese Festivals.
More than 20 food trucks and other vendors are participating in the ode to grilled cheese.
Now grilled cheese entrees are much more than the traditional grilled cheese sandwich.
Check it out for yourself on an outing to the 1300 block of Central Avenue in downtown St. Petersburg from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. today, April 15.
