VENICE, Fla- — The Sarasota Sheriff says a small plane crashed down in Venice on Saturday, April 17.
According to the sheriff, the plane made an emergency landing, due to an engine problem, in a pond at Pelican Pointe Golf and Country Club.
Two people were on the plane but only one was transported to the hospital.
