Saturday, October 28 is National Prescription Drug Take Back Day. It's a chance for Tampa Bay Area residents to safely get rid of old medicine they don't need anymore.
The National Prescription Drug Take Back Day aims to provide safe and convenient means of throwing away prescription drugs.

Many local police departments and sheriff's offices are participating and there are drop out sites throughout the Tampa Bay Area.
The events across the country will run from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.
