The Rotary Club of Fishhawk-Riverview is ready for its annual bid to offer a bit of spice in your life. It's time for the Rotary Club's Seventh Annual Crawfish Festival.

This year's Crawfish Festival will be from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday, April 22, at the Winthrop Town Center on Bloomingdale Avenue in Riverview.

Proceeds will benefit local charities and scholarship funds.

The festival aims to attract spectators who enjoy Cajun food and plenty other food items, beverage and activities for the entire family. Crawfish dinner tickets cost $25.

Reservations will guarantee a crawfish meal will be available on the day of the event. Crawfish dinners include about 2 pounds of crawfish with side dishes corn and potatoes.

Children who bring nonperishable food items will receive a free hotdog.
