A female suspect robbed a Circle K and then led police on a chase from Tampa to St. Pete, eventually crashing into a CVS early Thursday morning.
Tampa Police say they responded to a robbery at 4801 East Gandy Blvd. where a female suspect robbed a gas station clerk at knife point and then fled the scene. Tampa PD pursued the suspect as she drove from Tampa to St. Pete.
St. Pete police say the driver eventually crashed into one of the columns at the CVS, located at 8001 9th St N.
Police say the structure should be fine. The suspect was arrested.
The identity of the suspect has not been released.
