In early May a litter of 6-week to 7-week-old kittens was found in Ruskin.
Second Chance Friends Rescue was contacted to help because the kittens were suffering from an upper respiratory infection.
A foster mom took them in. With the help of the veterinarians and staff at Timberlane Animal Hospital, the kittens made quick recoveries.
Five of the kittens are seeking their forever homes.
Molly, Mary, Watson, Lestrade and Mycroft, all their names based on characters from Sherlock Holmes, are calm and good with dogs and other cats.
Now 4 months old, they are housebroken. They also have been vaccinated.
