Rico Suave, a 3-year-old American bulldog, earned his name. He is a big lap dog, who likes to be close to his owner.
"He is a lover," said Carey Johnson of American Bulldog Rescue, describing the husky lad's loveable, loyal nature.
Now about 105 pounds, Rico Suave has come a long way since he was rescued.
"He was all head and feet, when he was rescued," Johnson said.
Rico Suave would be a great friend for an individual or empty nesters. He may not be the ideal family pet because of his size.
He is house trained and is good on a leash during walks.
