Detectives with the Polk County Sheriff's Office have launched a search for 62-year-old Patrick Isaac Rodney, who was last seen Wednesday in Haines City.

About 7 p.m. Wednesday Rodney walked away from the Latino Brother's Barbershop at 35564 Highway 27 in Haines City and hasn't been seen since, a Polk County Sheriff's Office news release said.

Rodney, who uses a black cane when he walks, is medically diagnosed with short-term memory loss, diabetes, AFIB and congenital heart disease.

He is between transitional homes and does not have a permanent residence at this time. Rodney normally travels by taxi and sometimes stays at hotels.

Rodney has gray hair, brown eyes, weighs 230 pounds, and stands 5'8" tall.

Anyone with information is asked to call the Polk County Sheriff's Office at (863) 298-6200 or Detective Paul McLeod at (863) 287-4562.
