Cara Ann Sanford, an endangered 48-year-old Pinellas Park woman is missing, authorities said.

Sanford was last seen about noon Wednesday leaving her home accompanied by her small dog, the Pinellas Park Police Department said.

She may be driving her gold colored 2014 Hyundai Elantra SE Sport with Florida tag number GLTH93.

Sanford may not be taking required medications. She has suffered blackouts on occasions and other medical conditions.

At this time, investigators don't believe her disappearance is of a suspicious nature, a police statement said. Police are only trying to locate Sanford's whereabouts and return her home safely to her family.

Sanford is known to often visit Palm Harbor. She also has relatives in Michigan.

Sanford is white, 5-foot-6 and weighs about 180 pounds. She has blonde hair and blue eyes.

Police is asking anyone with information about Sanford's whereabouts to contact the Pinellas Park Police Department.
