Pet of the week: Rose loves mud baths

Posted

Our pet of the week is Rose. She is an affectionate dog that is hoping to find a forever home to call her own.

Rose is a 2-year-old mixed breed dog. She was dumped in a Brooksville parking lot last year. Some people who worked nearby saw her and made sure she got to a safe place.

Shelter workers say Rose is calm, very affectionate, loves car rides and chasing lizards. If you let her, she loves taking beautifying mud baths.

Rose knows how to sit and is very teachable (as long as there are treats involved in the learning process.)

Rose likes people of all ages, likes most other dogs and doesn't mind cats. She is spayed, up-to-date on her shots and preventatives, and microchipped.

If you are looking for a friend who will give you gentle kisses, this is the girl for you.

Rose is currently staying with ARF'n, the Animal Rescue Friends Network. Anyone interested in adopting Rose can find additional information at www.arfn.org or by e-mailing info@arfn.org.
