A pedestrian was struck and killed Tuesday night in the 5500 block of 62nd Avenue North in Pinellas Park, authorities said.
The victim was identified as a male but his name was withheld notification of next of kin.
The incident occurred about 11:25 p.m. Tuesday, Jan. 5.
Few details have been released about the traffic accident other than a vehicle struck the pedestrian, who died.
The investigation is in the hands of Pinellas Park police traffic homicide investigators, who remained on the scene early Wednesday morning.
