Deputies arrested a teacher's aid for a special needs class at Land O' Lakes High School after she and a student both admitted to having a sexual encounter. Detectives soon learned of a second victim.

Melissa Borsch, 35 years old of New Port Richey, faces a sexual battery charge and an unlawful sexual activity charge.

Pasco court documents said she befriended a 15-year-old victim and engaged in what the probable cause statement calls "consensual" sex with the victim while he was home alone.

The victim's mother learned of the incident, and Borsch later admitted to the sexual encounter in a controlled, recorded phone conversation.

Friday afternoon, Pasco officials reported a second victim. Borsch and a 17-year-old student shared a room overnight and had sex, according to court documents. She later admitted to this encounter in a recorded phone call, similar to the way she admitted the first incident.

A school district spokeswoman says Borsch has been an employee for the district since 2012. They tell us she worked in the cafeteria before working her way up into a classroom.

Borsch has no criminal history and has been put on paid administrative leave.
