Backstreet Boys singer and Tampa Bay area native Nick Carter was arrested Wednesday night at a bar in Key West, authorities said.
Few details have been released about the incident. Carter was charged with one count of misdemeanor touch or strike and taken to the Monroe County Jail, where he was booked. He was being held on no bond.
Carter's representatives declined to comment when contacted by media outlets.
The 35-year-old and his wife, Lauren Kitt, are expecting their first child.
Carter recently was the runner up in ABC's Dancing With The Stars television show.
