You can now skip applications, emails and phone calls to get a special police patrol in one Tampa Bay Area city.
Largo's new mobile app has several features, but as we near the summer vacation season, the ability to request a special Largo Police Patrol to check on your home without doing more than clicking a few buttons might be the best new tool.

Vacation Watch requests aren't new, and are available through Police Departments all over the Tampa Bay Area, including the Tampa Police Department, and but perhaps the improvement in accessibility will lead to less crime.
Largo Police Department's new app is, admittedly, a "work in progress" and is still in the "preliminary phase" says the department, but the app also has other key pieces of information, like news and events, wanted individuals, department statistics, and even a way to commend an officer for good work.
