A man was shot at least once when he exchanged gunfire with two Hillsborough County sheriff's deputies at a house in Riverview overnight, authorities said.

Jamil Alejandro Valladares, 26, of Riverview, fired a semi-automatic handgun at the deputies multiple times when they responded to a domestic dispute call at 9525 Grovedale Circle in Riverview about 1:15 a.m. Sunday, Hillsborough County sheriff's spokesman Larry McKinnon said in a news release.

Valladares' girlfriend, Krista Kariema Wong, 24, also of 9525 Grovedale Circle, Riverview, had reported Valladares had pulled her hair and ripped her robe during a domestic violence incident, the release states.
