Pinellas County sheriff's detectives are investigating a shooting that seriously injured a man in unincorporated Clearwater early Sunday.
At about 7:23 a.m. Sunday, deputies were called to a residence at 14600 block of 64th Street North of unincorporated Clearwater for a report of an armed person.
When deputies arrived, they found a male victim suffering from multiple gunshot wounds. His name nor age were released.
The victim was transported to Bayfront Health in St. Petersburg for life-threatening injuries.
It is an active and ongoing investigation, deputies said.
