Jerry Seinfeld, best known as the co-creator and star of the classic NBC sitcom Seinfeld, will bring his stand-up comedy routine for a two-night stint to Ruth Eckerd Hall in Clearwater in January.
Hailed for his ability to joke about the little things in life, Seinfeld will relate that and other yada yada yada to audiences in the Bay area Thursday, Jan. 26, and Friday, Jan. 27. The Thursday show begins at 7 p.m. On Friday, the show times are 7 p.m. and 9:30 p.m.
Seineld's January appearances in Clearwater are slated to be part of the comedian's plans to perform both nationally and internationally in 2017.
In addition to his TV series being a contributor to pop culture in the late 1980s and most of the 90s, Seinfeld in recent years has been known for his stand-up comedy shows and the web series Comedians in Cars Getting Coffee.
The web series centers on Seinfeld picking up a fellow comedian in a classic car during each episode and taking the individual out for coffee and conversation.
Tickets for Seinfeld's Clearwater appearances go on sale at 10 a.m. Oct. 28.
Tickets will be available at the Ruth Eckerd Hall Ticket Office, by calling (727) 791-7400 or visiting www.RuthEckerdHall.com.
