Hundreds of jobs are available in Pasco County right now, and the county government is launching a huge jobs fair to solicit help.
Employers include Pasco County Schools, Pasco County Sheriff’s Office, Pasco Clerk & Comptroller, Pasco Emergency Services, and the Pasco Tax Collector.
Here's a full list of jobs available:
- 911 Dispatchers
- AC & HVAC Technicians
- Bus Drivers & Driver Assistants
- Child Protective Investigator Trainees
- Customer Service & Clerical Support
- Food Services
- Inventory Control Technicians
- Instructional Assistants
- Law Enforcement & Corrections Deputies
- Math, Reading, & Science Teachers
- School Crossing Guards
- Substitute Teachers
- Systems Analysts
Many of these jobs also provide training for employees that are hired. A new partnership between Pasco County Schools and the University of South Florida will offer a part-time education degree program beginning this fall for anyone with an associates or 60 college credits interested in getting their bachelor’s in education and becoming a teacher.
Representatives will be on site at the job fair to talk with interested candidates.
Many of these jobs also include benefits, like a 401K.
The event on Wednesday is from 3 p.m. to 6 p.m. in the Land O' Lakes High School gym located at 20325 Gator Lane in Land O’ Lakes.
