- Closed Thursday and Friday, students will transition to remote learning
- Sarasota County Schools
- Traditional public schools will be opening on-time on Thursday
- Pinellas County Schools
- Closed on Thursday
- Schools will open and be fully operational on Friday
- Pasco County Schools
- Closed on Thursday
- Schools will reopen on Friday as planned
- Hardee County Schools
- School will be open Thursday
- Highlands County Schools
- All schools will be operating as normal on Thursday
- Manatee County Schools
- Closed Thursday
- Schools reopening Friday, Nov. 13 for on-campus and hybrid instruction as well as eLearning
- Hernando County Schools
- Closed Thursday
- Citrus County Schools
- Closed Thursday, students will transition to remote learning
- All schools will resume their normal schedules on Friday
- All extra-curricular activities, including athletic games and practices, are also included
- Polk County Schools
- Closed Thursday
- Will reopen on Friday, Nov. 13
- All after-school activities will also resume on Friday

- Polk State College closed Thursday
- All USF campuses will close at 3:30 p.m. on Wednesday, Nov. 11 through Thursday, Nov. 12.
- All classes will be delivered remotely on Thursday, Nov. 12.
- All campuses are expected to reopen on Friday, Nov. 13.
- The University of Tampa
- Remote Instruction on Thursday
- Regular instruction will resume at 6 p.m. Thursday
- Saint Leo University will hold classes for its University Campus students via Zoom on Thursday, November 12.
- University leadership is monitoring Tropical Storm Eta and will decide on Thursday about whether evening classes at its education centers will be held in-person.
