The ramp to southbound I-275 from I-4 westbound was closed due to a fatal accident early Friday morning.
The accident caused many delays for the Tampa Bay morning commute. Delays extended to I-75.
Just before 7 a.m., the lanes were reopened.
Florida Highway Patrol says the crash involved a motorcycle. The 2016 Suzuki motorcycle was traveling westbound on I-4, took the southbound I-275 ramp, but failed to negotiate the curve in the roadway. The motorcycle, driven by Leonel Pena, 44, of Tampa, collided with the outside guardrail, ejecting Pena from the bike.
Pena died at the scene of the crash.
