Daniel Geir’s business, N-Hance Cabinets, in Pinellas County is expanding, but now he needs to add more employees.

“Industry wide it’s hard to find a hard qualified worker,” said Geier.

He’s tried several online career websites, but most of them charge money. This week he posted an ad on his company’s Facebook page using the company’s new job posting tool.

“Applicants can do a little mini application, it pulls from their background information that they have on Facebook and then I can also message them,” said Geier.

Geir is hoping the new free tool will help him attract millennial workers like Alec Stillwell. Stillwell works in the construction industry and he’s searching for a second job.

“I think it’s a really good idea, now instead of being lazy on Facebook people can apply for a job and maybe make some money,” said Stilwell.

Facebook makes company’s verify they are real to avoid any scammers from posting ads.

Geier is excited to see what type of new applicants the feature will attract.
