Denali Flavors, the company that created the Moose Tracks flavor of ice cream, has partnered with Mayfield Dairy to donate 10,000 scoops of free ice cream for the public to eat.

The real beneficiary will be the Salvation Army in Tampa.

Denali Flavors will also donate $1.00 to the Salvation Army of Tampa for each scoop eaten. The goal is to raise $10,000 to support the agency’s vital programs.

On Sunday, Wonetha Hall, a spokeswoman for the Salvation Army, dropped by ABC Action News Studio A with a carton of ice cream to talk about the special event.
