Detectives with the Hillsborough County Sheriff's Office arrested one suspect and are searching for two additional suspects involved in a dog door burglary in Valrico on January 21 and 22.
Deputies say the burglary happened twice at the victim's vacant home on Little Road. On January 21 at approximately 7:19 p.m., an Joaun Evan Wright, 19, entered the home through the dog door at the back of the residence. On January 22 at approximately 6:05 p.m. Wright returned with two unknown white males and were captured on surveillance video coming and going from the home using the dog door.
The three suspects reportedly ransacked the home and took a flat screen television and other items.
Wright was arrested on February 3, 2017 and charged with burglary of an unoccupied dwelling and criminal mischief. The two unknown white males are believed to be in their early 20's, approximately 5'2" and 5'3" and weighing around 130 to 140 pounds.
