Cold weather shelters open in the Tampa Bay area due to dropping temps

Pinellas County is opening up cold weather shelters due to plummeting temperatures.

The shelters will open Friday night for the homeless and those who live in homes without adequate heat.

Parts of the Tampa Bay area is expected to see lows in the 40s Friday.
