Thomas is a two-time resident of Hillsborough County Pet Resource Center.

His first adoption resulted in him being tied to railroad tracks, where he was hit by a train and lost a hind leg.

The lad ended up back at the shelter, where he was fostered and adopted again. The results unfortunately was the same. Thomas' owner returned him due to no fault of the pet.

Thomas's friends at Second Chance Friends pet rescue are seeking to find him a forever home.

Thomas runs, plays and fetches like a pet with four legs. He rewards his foster family with plenty of kisses and snuggles on a daily basis.

He gets along with with other dogs his size or smaller. He tends to get nervous around bigger dogs.
Thomas also is not a fan of cats.
