An armed carjacking suspect was arrested Friday morning driving drunk in a stolen vehicle with his wife and two young kids in the car with him.
An FHP report said 25-year-old Taylor Foster of Largo was driving a stolen 2011 Chevrolet Impala involved in a recent carjacking. After an alert from Pinellas Park police, troopers spotted the car and pulled him over on I-4 near mile marker 6.
Fosters charges indicate he used an illegally obtained gun during the armed carjacking.
Officials confirmed the family wasn't present at the time of the carjacking.
His children, 3 and 5 years old, were sent to DCF.
Foster's full list of charges from this incident include:
- grand theft of a motor vehicle
- possession of a stolen firearm
- possession of a firearm by a convicted felon
- driving under the influence
- no valid driver license
