Tampa Fire Rescue Capt. Joe Billek remains a force to protect his fellow man even after his death.
Billek was diagnosed with melanoma in 2009 and died three years later.
His family launched the Captain Billek Foundation to raise awareness about melanoma and the foundation's efforts to prevent others from the same diagnoses.
