Queena is the survivor of a brutal 2011 attack outside the Bloomingdale Library. A judge sentenced Kendrick Morris, the teenager who attacked her. to life in prison.

She has not been able to walk, talk, or eat on her own since the attack. She communicates through widening her eyes, smiling and clenching her fists.

Queena requires around-the-clock care and attends daily physical and experimental therapies to aid in her recovery.
