St. Petersburg police arrested a 14-year-old boy Friday for bringing a knife to school.
The report said the Azalea Middle School student told a girl he had a knife and planned to use it against another student. The girl then took the boy's backpack to a teacher.
School officials discovered a folding knife and a list of several names on the student during questioning.
Possessing a knife on school property is a felony.
