Here's where to watch some of the best fireworks shows in the Tampa Bay area on New Year's Eve.
Apollo Beach | "Florida's Largest New Years Eve Fireworks"
Apollo Beach is throwing a huge New Year’s Eve fireworks show – what it calls the largest in the state – and you can watch it live on your smart phone, tablet, or online at ABCActionNews.com. Watch it here Thursday night.

Tampa/Channelside | Light Up Tampa Bay: New Year’s Eve Celebration
The free event begins 8 p.m. with music and drink specials. It culminates with a ball drop and firework display at midnight.
St. Petersburg | First Night St. Pete
The 23rd annual event includes a variety of entertainment, such as music, drama, dance, art and games, in addition to fireworks. Advance tickets cost $10 for adults and $5 for children between 6 and 12. Prices increase Thursday to $15 for adults and $10 for children between 6 and 12. Children younger than 5 are free.
Legoland | Kids’ New Year’s Eve
Don’t want to keep your kids up until midnight? You can take them to Legoland. Instead of a ball, the park is dropping a giant Lego brick at 8 p.m. – early enough for bedtime. The event also includes music and fireworks.
Lowry Park Zoo | Noon Year’s Eve
Is 8 p.m. still too late for you? Lowry Park Zoo will ring in the new year even earlier – at noon, sans fireworks of course. The event, including a juice toast, is included with your admission.
Busch Gardens | New Year's at Busch Gardens
The celebration, including with your ticket purchase, takes place across the park and continues until 1 a.m. The event includes live music and fireworks at Gwazi Field.
Jackson’s Bistro | New Year's Eve celebration
This one’s only open for partiers 21 and up. The restaurant and club will offer fireworks, party favors and a champagne toast. General admission tickets are $40.
Rooftop Eve 2016 | Midnight in the Garden
Ring in the new year atop the Ft. Brooke parking garage in downtown Tampa at 107 N. Franklin St. Tickets to the 21 and up only party are $175 until Dec. 29. Tickets at the door will be $200. The event includes an open bar, entertainment and a free shuttle from certain Tampa neighborhoods.
